Child Fund Indonesia, *an international non-government organization working for the well-being of children and providing micro enterprise development services to caregivers to uplift their economic situation, is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following positions;
1. **Micro Enterprise Development Specialist – Based at Bireuen (Salary range IDR 8-14 million per month) Contract duration – 6 months** *
The successful candidate will be required to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Oversee management of the micro enterprise development (MED) and micro-finance (MF) programmes ensuring continued high quality program delivery and staff performance - Identify MED and MF strategies for improvement of program. - Conduct livelihoods assessments. - By identifying MED related market oppertunities and skill gaps in target beneficiaries, preparing training plans, provide trainings and financial services to address the enterprise development needs. - Identify suitable training agencies and trainers. - Provide training and support to target beneficiaries for startup of new micro-enterprises and manage existing micro-enterprises. - Evaluate effects of the trainings on MED activities on regular intervals. - Create linkages of the enterprises undertaken by the project beneficiaries with appropriate outside agencies to improve the quality and productivity of the enterprises. - Train staff on MED program implementation. - Establish and maintain effective program reporting, monitoring and evaluation systems. - Field monitoring and reporting on how the improvement in livelihood activities is directly benefiting children and their families as per approved plans. - Manage MF program in the target area by maintaining repayment rate at desirable level, - Develop mechanisms to use savings in an efficient manner to build capital base of members - Develop mechanisms for sustainabaility of the businesses of target beneficiaries - Manage program and portfolio risks in a prudent manner - Build capacity of target beneficiaries in managing their businesses and keeping their SHG coherrent and viable - Train staff on forming viable SHGs within the scope of CFI, training appraisal of loan proposals, loan disbursement, collection supervision, and tracking health of businesses of beneficiaries. - Liaison with commercial banks in target area for opening of SHG saving accounts - Prepare weekly/monthly plans and monitor the progress of program. - Ensure timely achievement of targets - Submit financial and narrative reports as per agreed time schedules
*Qualifications:*
1. University degree or equivalent professional qualification 2. 3 years experience of managing a micro-finance and micro-enterprise development program 3. Proven experience in Project Management and Donor Reporting. 4. Leadership. 5. Excellent oral and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
