Chemonics International Inc., a global international development consulting
firm (www.chemonics.com), seeks qualified Indonesian education specialists
for an anticipated USAID higher education program in Indonesia. This project
aims to strengthen the capacity of Indonesian higher education institutions
to perform more effectively in financial management, general administration
and management, quality assurance, and collaboration with external
stakeholders. We are seeking successful candidates in the key areas below:

*University Collaboration Specialist:* Past experience managing
relationships and developing institutional partnerships between Indonesian
universities and regional and international universities or academic bodies.
Responsible for providing general support, coordination, and on-the-ground
trouble-shooting for these institutional partnerships.
* *
*Quality Assurance Specialist:* Past experience with quality assurance
(including qualifications, licensing, accreditation, and graduation
requirements) at the university level. Proven experience in undertaking
activities aimed at enabling higher education institutions to develop
quality assurance approaches supportive of the sustained delivery and
continuous improvement of quality teaching, research and service,
particularly as it relates to ensuring the value and relevance of such
programs to external stakeholders (i.e., private and public sector
employers).
Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years relevant experience
· Prior experience in one or more of the areas outlined above
· Experience working with international donors or organizations
preferred
· Interest in working with a multi-cultural, international team in a

The British Council is looking for Indonesian national consultants for anticipated upcoming project funded by ADB: The School and Madrasah Principals and Supervisors Competencies Baseline Study.
Timeline (tentative) : October 2011 – September 2012.
The purpose of the School and Madrasah Principals and Supervisors Competencies Baselines Study is:
a.) to undertake a nationwide assessment of the competencies of school/madrasah principals based on a representative stratified sample as a basis for determining national policy and professional development programmes for Head of School/Madrasah in Kindergarten (TK/RA), primary (SD/MI), and vocational senior secondary (SMK)
b.) to undertake a nationwide assessment of the competencies of school/madrasah supervisors as a basis for determining national policy on the professional development programs for supervisors of School/Madrasah in Kindergarten (TK/RA), primary (SD/MI),junior secondary (SMP/MTs), general senior secondary (SMA/MA) and vocational senior secondary (SMK)
We anticipate the study will utilise both quantitative and qualitative approach.
The study will be implemented by consultancy team comprising the following personnel:

Applied Conservation Learning Manager
The Nature Conservancy is seeking an experienced conservation
practitioner to be responsible for oversight and implementation of The
Nature Conservancy's Asia Pacific Applied Conservation Learning Network.
Qualifications:
* MBA/MS degree and 8+ years experience in conservation practice
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Significant experience working on knowledge management and/or
networking initiatives either within or outside the conservation field
and familiarity with current trends and practices in knowledge
management.
* Experience working in the field in Indonesia and Melanesia
preferred.
* Written and spoken English required, and Bahasa Indonesia
strongly preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Applied Conservation Learning Network Manager is a senior
conservation position. S/he is responsible for oversight and
implementation of The Nature Conservancy's Asia Pacific Applied
Conservation Learning Network. The purpose of the Applied Conservation
Learning Network is to support The Nature Conservancy's staff and
partners as they work to foster sustainable, local conservation
leadership at 12 sites in Melanesia and Indonesia. The Learning Network
Manager will work with TNC staff who are implementing the transition of
conservation leadership at sites from TNC to local partners, to provide
peer support, mentoring and training on the topics and skills that
network members will need to succeed at this task. The Learning Network
Manager will convene the Learning Network to provide peer learning
opportunities, and will also work closely with individual site teams to
help them develop and meet their capacity-building and partnership goals
