School Development Manager
(Medan)
Responsibilities:
· Conduct feasibility study and develop the schoolconcept,
business plan & fundraising strategy
· Set up and lead the establishments of the school'svision
& mission, strategy, management system, curriculum &
teachingmethodology
· Oversee the school's planning and construction
· Liaise with Dinas Pendidikan and lead the applicationof
licensing for the school and the foundation
· Lead the recruitment of principal, teachers andstaff
· Establish networks with reputable universities inIndonesia
as well as in neighboring & developed countries
· Liaise and provide technical assistance duringmeetings with
the group of businessmen and ensure their understanding and
supportfor the plans and their implementations
Requirements:
· Bachelor degree relevant to education (or
equivalentprofessional experience)
· Minimum 5 years experience working in private
schools,preferably with 2 years of managing or leading private school or
yayasan
· Good analytical skill and demonstrated results inconducting
independent research, in developing proposals, in
management and inestablishing partnerships
· Proactive, resilient, self-driven, self-responsibleand
willing to learn
· Excellent communication skill in written and spokenBahasa
Indonesia and English is a must, and highly preferably

Yayasan Kristen
Wamena (YKW) adalah organisasi
kemanusiaan yang bergerak dalam bidang PENDIDIKAN. YKW berdiri sejak tahun 2006
dan telah melakukan program pendidikan di Pegunungan Tengah Papua khususnya
dalam bidang Pendidikan Dasar (PAUD, TK, SD) dan Sekolah Tinggi Keguruan dan
Ilmu Pendidikan (STKIP) tingkat Sarjana. Komitmen YKW terhadap visi dan misi yaitu
Peningkatan Mutu Sumber Daya Manusia di Pegunungan Tengah Papua dilakukan
melalui pelatihan kepada guru-guru/tutor Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dan Sekolah Dasar.
Tahun ini, YKW
akan melakukan program Pendidikan khususnya untuk Penyusunan Kurikulum Kontekstual yang
berbasis budaya lokal Papua untuk peningkatan mutu Pendidikan Dasar di Papua. Tujuan
program untuk memberdayakan guru-guru yang mengajar anak-anak di
sekitar Pegunungan Tengah Papua. Output dari program ini adalah diciptakannya
buku panduan untuk guru dan anak khususnya mata pelajaran inti yaitu Bahasa Indonesia dan
Matematika pada tahap awal. Kurikulum tersebut akan tetap memakai tujuan akhir dari KTSP yang
menjadi standar umum Pendidikan Dasar di Indonesia.
YKW mencari beberapa
orang yang akan melengkapi tim Penyusunan Kurikulum untuk Posisi:
