Represent the Delegation in national and international networking and coordination forums * Lead the provision of technical and financial support to PMI in the area of effective application of information technology (including but not restricted to website, databases, MIS, effective internal and external electronic communication and information sharing) using the digital divide initiative where appropriate |

Caritas Switzerland, an International NGO, is carrying out a Climate/ Environmental Project in Bali. The project's goal is to contribute to climate change mitigation by recycling used cooking oil from hotels and restaurants and transforming it into biodiesel. Caritas Switzerland seeks for this project qualified, dynamic and highly motivated personnel to fill the position of: Assistant Liaison Officer Summary of job duties and responsibilities: 1. Supporting baseline surveys at hotels and restaurants 2. Collecting and documenting information from hotels and restaurants 3. Supporting the organization of information events 4. Supporting planning, developing and implementing PR strategies 5. Reporting to the Team Leader Qualifications: 1. Strong communication and writing skills 2. D3 or S1 graduation from any backgrounds 3. At least 1 years experience (S1) or 2 years experience (D3) related with marketing/ public relation or in the hotel business 4. The Media Assistant reports to the Media Officer and is tasked to support the Media Officer in enabling the media unit in its contribution to achieve the organization’s goals, particularly in Communications Unit. Key tasks and responsibilities: · Monitor news and features media in the country including print, broadcast and web, and provide timely information to the media officer and project teams, as well as maintain the archive and database of such articles in the country; · Assist in the production, publication and distribution of Greenpeace materials and advisories for offline and online use in the country including press releases, briefing papers, reports, brochures, commentaries, articles, letters, videos, photo stories, etc; including producing newsreels when necessary, in coordination with the media officer and/or the photo and video desks; · Assist in developing, managing and maintaining relationships with print, broadcast and online journalists, editors and other news decision-makers in the country; help manage the database of these contacts and facilitate media requests; · Assist in maintaining relationships with external suppliers and consultants such as photographers, videographers, designers, producers, etc, in the country, as well as help manage the database of such contacts; · Coordinate with the Media Officer in the implementation of press events and activities, including necessary logistics during activities; · Help maintain the archive of raw photos, video footage, reports, and media resources in the country; · Help maintain equipment of the country media unit; · Assist in budget monitoring; and · Perform other duties as assigned by the Media officer. Minimum Requirements * Minimum Bachelor Degree. * Knowledge and understanding of media world, experience in the media field is an advantage. * Able to communicate effectively in English * Creative and flexible * Computer and internet-use skills, including desk top publishing anddatabase search. * Ability to work in a team. * Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline. * Willing to travel |
