Required Qualifications: - BA degree (S1) inenvironmental health, public health, or experiencein other relevant fields. - Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills - At least 2 years of professional experience working with international or local non-government organizations focusing in disaster management and public health practice, with a bias to community-related water and sanitation projects. - Proven knowledge in Hygiene Improvement Framework, Behaviour Change Communication (BCC), and PHAST/CHAST with the ability to demonstrate to health cadres and community stakeholder. - Knowledge in training and education in water and sanitation would be an advantage - Ability in Acehnese language will be preferred. - Female candidate will be more preferable. - Very flexible in the working time as requested by the supervisor. |

CARE Indonesia in Luwu, South Sulawesi is currently recruiting the following position: JOB TITLE :VILLAGE FACILITATOR (VF) DEPARTMENT/PROJECT : PROJECT/BCRCC REPORTS TO : DISTRICT FACILITATOR JOB SUMMARY: This position will be supervised by District Facilitator. VF will work together with other CARE project Staff and other partner to design, planning and implementing activities in community with related institutions. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: · Work with in co-operation with Local Government, opinion leaders, religious groups, and community based organizations (CBOs), etc across the target areas, providing information to the community about Building coastal resilience to reduce climate change impact in Teluk Bone, South Sulawesi (BCR CC) and its components. · Organize meetings or events together with the village leaders and or water committee for the purpose of project implementation. · Facilitate and assist community organization to manage WSS and health and hygiene education, reflecting gender equity and poverty targeting principles. · Build community capacity and assist community in developing the Community Action Plan (CAP), related to the livelihood and climate change adaptation. · Address complaints and questions about the project and help ensure transparency in all project implementation and decision making. · Monitor and evaluate project activities in community level, in coordination with Monev Officers. · Provide timely and accurate progress reports for the supervisor and other partners as appropriate. · Monthly Update of Project Activities Reports (Including database, indicator tracking tables, etc). · Other tasks may reasonably requested by supervisor. Helen Keller International (HKI) - Indonesia Position: Nutrition Program Manager Program(s): Nutrition, Agriculture, Food Security Reports to: HKI Indonesia Country Director I. Program Description Since the 1970s HKI has been working to establish sustainable evidence-based approaches to enhance health, nutrition, rehabilitation and education in Indonesia. HKI's programs in Indonesia engage all levels of the government health and education structure from national to village level. HKI provides services which are integrated into existing health and education systems by developing its human resources and infrastructure, conducting needs assessments, analyzing local characteristics to inform program design and implementation, training of personnel, providing basic equipment and medicines, delivering services, monitoring program progress and evaluating their impact. HKI currently implements education, rehabilitation, eye care, health, and nutrition programs in 24 countries worldwide. Through 90 years of experience, HKI has developed particular expertise in large scale implementation of targeted interventions, development of government service delivery systems and comprehensive monitoring of program outcomes, such as policy developments, educational access, nutritional status, mortality and morbidity. II. Position Description Based in Jakarta, the Nutrition Program Manager, will lead the design, management, implementation and evaluation of HKI Indonesia nutrition, agriculture and food security programs. The Nutrition Program Manager will report to the Country Director and will be the main point of contact for national and international counterparts in the development and implementation of the nutrition programs in Indonesia. III. Essential Job Functions Program Leadership and Management - Ensure effective project planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting of programs in the field to achieve the objectives agreed to in grants and contracts for HKI Indonesia’s nutrition projects including, but not limited to, homestead food production (HFP), micronutrient supplementation (vitamin A, zinc, iron, multi micronutrient powders, etc.), food fortification programs. * Provide technical assistance to all national, provincial and district government counterparts,non-governmental partners and other stakeholders. · Liaise with partners (Government agencies, NGOs) inside Indonesia for ongoing and planned programs. * Work with the HKI Indonesia and Asia Pacific Regional team to use research and program data to develop new or refine existing program materials, ensuring technical integrity and quality. * Lead the development of training programs (including training curricula, lesson plans, and training materials) related to nutrition programs and lead the development of monitoring plans following the trainings. * Work with the HKI country and regional team to develop annual and monthly workplan for all activities in all programs. * Submit monthly and periodic progress reports that will be incorporated into reports and other documents required by HKI and its donors. Other reports/documents may be required as per request of the Country Director, other HKI offices or donors. · Participate in new staff recruitment. * Supervise field based staff at project sites and HKI office in Jakarta. Research, Monitoring and Evaluation · Oversee the organization and execution of research and assist in data entry, analysis, and report writing. * Lead the design and implementation of program-related surveys and regular monitoring of the nutrition programs. * Lead the production of regular monitoring reports on the ongoing program and disseminate in national and international levels. Program Development and Representation * Support the design of programs, advocacy and operational research to contribute to the evidence base of effective nutrition programming. * Assist the Country Director in developing concept papers, proposals, and budgets for new and existing programs as required. * Represent HKI in workshops/seminars and technical meetings on nutrition, agriculture and food security. * Assist Country Director with other duties as needed. IV. Qualifications and Experience * Doctoral degree in Nutrition or related field with strong hands-on experience in nutrition programming, including at the community level, is highly preferred. Masters degree or medical degree with strong track record in nutrition program implementation and publications will be considered. * At least 6 years of related field experience in nutrition programming (e.g., micronutrients, infant and young child feeding and women’s nutrition), including strong quantitative analytic skills. |

Currently Save the Children has an immediate need for experienced consultant to work under Wash in Schools Empowerment (WISE) Project and will be based in Kupang. Title : Consultant for KAP Baseline of Wash in Schools Empowerment (WISE) Project (Code: Consultant WISE) Type of Contract : Consultant Duty Station : Kupang with some travels to WISE district (Soppeng in South Sulawesi, Belu in NTT, Manokwari in West Papua, and Jayapura in Papua) Contract Duration : 3 (two) months SUMMARY OF THE CONSULTANCY: WASH in Schools Empowerment (WISE) is a 28 months projects funded by Dubai Care with the overall goal to contribute to the improvement of the well being of children through the integration of water and sanitation facilities and hygiene activities in the primary schools of Indonesia. WISE project implemented with three development agencies, namely SAVE, CARE and UNICEF will reach in 450 school in four provinces of eastern Indonesia - Papua (Jayapura), Papua Barat (Manokwari), Belu and Soe (NTT), Takalar and Soppeng (South Sulawesi). Under the supervision of Save the Children WISE Specialist, the incumbent will develop a KAP Survey Baseline for WISE project. SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Finalize the methodology and the questioners for students and community 2. Translate the questioners into Bahasa 3. Testing the questioner and make adjustment if needed (a pilot session) 4. Train data collectors (enumerators) in district level 5. Make a template and train the data entry staff 6. Data processing and analyses 7. Reporting the KAP result into Bahasa and English PROFILE OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: * Advance Degree (Master) in Public Health, WASH knowledge, or BCI experience is an asset. * 5 (five) years or more of progressively responsible professional work experience in the UN or other international development organization, national government, or the private sector. * Having experience with KAP baseline and endline with training facilitating for enumerators and entry data staff. * Having experience with schools and community program. * Excellent verbal communication as well as written writing and reporting skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia. |
