Job Description

Management Sciences for Health (MSH) seeks a Grants Manager for a USAID-funded program to increase performance and technical knowledge required by organizations to effectively implement integrated interventions targeting most-at-risk-populations.  The project will introduce evidence-based interventions to strengthen organizations’ capacity to deliver quality services. Responsibilities include: provides leadership and guidance in the areas of leveraging funding, identifying and mobilizing resources to strengthen program activities and attract partners to contribute to the goals of the ASII Indonesia Project.

The Grants Manager is responsible for managing the contractor’s grants portfolio in accordance with USAID procedures. H / She will participate in evaluating grant proposals and budgets and assist applicants in refining them. H / She will monitor, on an on-going basis, the performance of grantees with respect to the activities, reporting deliverables, and milestones agreed upon in their funding proposal and will also work to build the organizational capacity of program’s grant recipients.

Qualifications • Graduate degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• At least 5 years relevant experience in grants management and financial/operational systems preferred.
• Substantial experience implementing USAID-supported projects and knowledge of USAID regulations and procedures strongly preferred.
• Experience working with and providing technical assistance to NGOs.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills are essential; proficiency in Bahasa, Indonesian language
• Previous supervisory and training experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to work at provincial or district level
• Experience supervising staff.
