VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Danish Red Cross (DRC) Indonesia has since September 2003 developed a close and active partnership with Palang Merah Indonesia through the support to a number of programmes in various provinces in Indonesia. We are currently looking for: 1. Finance Officer (1 position) 2. Finance & Admin Assistant (1 position) Both the Finance Officer and Finance & Admin Assistant will be responsible, under the overall management of the Finance & Admin Manager, to assist the Finance & Administration department in Danish Red Cross Programme Office in Jakarta. The contracts offered will be fixed term employment (1 year contract possibility) and the level of salary will be commensurate to the International Federation of Red Cross & Red Crescent Societies regulation. |

URGENTLY REQUIRED Islamic Relief Worldwide is an International Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in Birmingham, UK in 1984. Islamic Relief has a consultative status (special category) with the economic and Social Council of the United Nations is full member of British Overseas NGOs for Development (BOND) and a signatory to the code of conduct for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and NGOs in Disaster Relief. It seeks to promote sustainable economic and social development by working with local communities through relief and development programmes. Islamic Relief Indonesia is part of Islamic Relief Worldwide which has been working in Indonesia since 2003. Islamic Relief Indonesia provides service and support to the communities in mandate areas, based on the MoU with Department of Home Affairs. There are some initiative sectors under Emergency and Development program such as Shelter, Water and Sanitation, Health and Nutrition, Livelihood, Orphans, Education, Marines Fisheries, and Disaster Preparedness and Response. Through these sectors, Islamic Relief Indonesia plays significant role in alleviating the suffering and poverty of the world’s poorest people. |

The Micronutrient Initiative (MI) is a not-for-profit organization established in 1992 as an international secretariat within Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and incorporated in Canada as a separate entity in 2001. The MI was created directly as a result of commitments made by world leaders at the 1990 United Nations World Summit for Children, to support efforts to control micronutrient deficiencies in developing countries. MI's mission is therefore to stimulate and support national actions to eliminate micronutrient malnutrition assuring universal coverage and sustained impact on the health and well being of people. Since 2006, MI Indonesia office was established and directly intervene in Vitamin A supplementation and micronutrient fortification programs in the country including the promotion of universal salt iodization (USI). MI Indonesia is going to support Iron Folic Acid (IFA) supplementation for pregnant women, and invites applications from qualified Indonesian citizens for the following position: Iron Folic Acid (IFA) Program Technical Consultant. |
