INTERPRETER
CHANGES FOR
JUSTICE (C4J) PROJECT
Chemonics International Inc., a leading
international consulting firm, seeks to fill the following long-term, full-time positions for a project funded
by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Indonesia Changes for Justice (C4J). The primary objective of the
C4J project is to improve the performance of Indonesia’s justice system, a
prerequisite for good governance and sustained economic growth, through
cooperation with the Supreme Court and Attorney General’s Office (AGO) of the
Republic of Indonesia.
Specific requirements
The
Translator/Interpreter translates internal and official documents for the C4J
Project from English into Bahasa Indonesia, and from Bahasa Indonesia into
English, including laws, regulations, official project correspondence, reports,
news, press releases, presentations, and other project-related documents, as
well as providing consecutive and simultaneous interpretation as needed at
meetings, trainings, and other events. The Translator/Interpreter will
contribute to all technical aspects of the C4J Project.

Mercy Corps Indonesia works to address the root causes of poverty to improve the quality of life for disaster and conflict affected, urban, and coastal communities. Current programs promote sustainable economic development through integrated, entrepreneurial self-help programs and skills training, with a particular focus on health, nutrition, and environmental development for underprivileged communities.
Mercy Corps is currently implementing HATI KAMI Program addressing maternal and child health in 2 districts in West Jakarta. The main issues of the program are health care and nutrition for mother and child that intervened with several behavior change strategies. One strategy that already used is through Mother Support Group Activity. |

ISEAN-Hivos-GF-R10-HIV/AIDS - Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Expert for the ISEAN-Hivos Program “Strengthening community systems to reduce vulnerability to and impact of HIV infection on MSM and TG in Insular Southeast Asia”
REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
In 2010, the Insular Southeast Asian Network on MSM, TG, and HIV (ISEAN) and the Humanist Institute for Co-operation with Developing Countries (Hivos) jointly submitted a regional proposal to the Global Fund for AIDS, Malaria, and Tuberculosis (GFATM) Round 10. The programme, entitled ‘Strengthening Community Systems to Reduce Vulnerability to and Impact of HIV infection on MSM and TG in Insular Southeast Asia’, was approved by GFATM and contract for the grant was signed on 6 October 2011. This grant has the main goal of reducing (a) the vulnerability and risks of MSM and TG to HIV infection and (b) the impact of HIV on their lives in Insular Southeast Asia. It intends to address critical gaps in supporting and scaling up activities that reduce HIV/AIDS among MSMs and TGs.
Hivos, as the Principal Recipient of the grant, is looking for a capable Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Expert to provide the following services that address the Grant’s requirements: |
